The Bloodhound is not your basic apartment dog unless your apartment is 10,000 square feet with lots of criminals to find. They are very robust and need room to roam and search. A fenced back yard works fine, but so does a good walk.
Bloodhounds love children to the degree that the owner must insure that the kids don't get abusive. The
bloodhound needs a firm and fair owner who will not always fall for their sorrowful gaze.
